Lynx smart string utility. HELP!

I am having a problem when I. STOP the ssc utility from transmitting.
I get a "Lynx Smart String Utility" box pop up with the following message:

a socket operation was attempted to an unreadable host
239.255.0.1:5568

I have never seen that message and I have done a lot of SSCs.
