Any compatibility issues with Windows 8 and Nutcracker??

I am looking to get a new laptop to run my show as I have a laptop with windows Vista and the compatibility issues are horrendous.  But it is hard now to find anything with Windows 7 on it anymore.  Everything has windows 8 on it now.  Does anyone else have any laptop or pc with windows 8 and are there any compatilibity issues with nutcracker?  I use vixen also so I am going to check with Vixen users also.

Just a guess by watching Sean's videos demoing xlights/Nutcracker he is using Windows 8

OK great - i am unable to attend the tutorials on thursdays as I have music rehearsal on those evenings.  I do have some catching up to do on those but I still have been updating it on the laptop.  That makes me feel better!
