you would need

TX - 1
EX/RX  - 8
RX - 1

I would think you would need the following if you wanted all your devices to connect through wireless:

1 Transmitter
1 RX (this is a separate PCB that would allow you to connect your Freestyle to wireless)
8 EX/RX (this module attaches directly to your Lynx Express)

Now you might not need all these if you don't have to have wireless for all of them.  If you have the version 2 Lynx Express boards that have 2 DMX outputs, you can connect a EX/RX module to one of them and then use the DMX 2 Out to connect to your Freestyle or other LE's.  That would give you wireless to your controllers and then wired DMX from controller to controller.

If that isn't clear just say so and I'll elaborate.

You mean if they have express version 3 that have the DMX2 out. Version 2 does not have the DMX2 out.

If you have only 1 TX you have a potential showstopper without a backup.

I agree.  You probably want 2 USB DMX dongles and 2 transmitters since that is a point where a single failure puts an crushing end to your show.

Yup sounds like at least one transmitter, at least one Express Receiver (if you have Lynx Express v3 then you can wired daisy chain the cat5 from there)

Yes there is a 3 coops still open. Wireless boards, Wireless parts, Boxes (with precut holes)

Oh, I forgot to mention that the all open coops are in the current coops forum. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
