4th Test Light and channel remain on
« on: November 23, 2013, »
This is a V5 I built and used last season. During bench test before placing in the yard I check all my units. This v5 LE has the 4th channel on soon as power is plugged in. All other channels seem to work fine. I removed the channel chip from a working unit same results. Any assistance is welcomed,  thank you

The ones I have had like that ended up being a blown triac.  A pain to replace, but doable.

Pull the opto chip for that channel, if it is still on then the triac is most likely bad.  Make sure to check for solder bridges and see if a bigger load changes things before removing the triac.
