light test program for ipad???
« on: December 01, 2013, »
Is there a testing program that will work on an ipad?  The only portable device we have is my wife's ipad.  I would like to be able to walk around my display and use the test features.  Is there a version that will fit on a 16meg ipad?  I am currently using vixen 2.1

I like to use Teamviewer free for personal use even better.

You can even access your xLights system from a cell phone. You need good vision though. LOL

It gives you functions that logmein charge for.

Thanks
I should have known it would be that easy. :)  I was going at it all wrong.  Thinking I had to run the player from the ipad.
Thanks again.

I actually have been thinking about writting an ios app to send e1.31 data out as a simple wireless tester.  I've got a netbook I use but it would be so much easier just to use my phone while out in my yard.

It would be nice to have.  There is one for the Android and it works really well in case you have one of those also.

It's called sACN (E1.31) Tester.  The icon is a Christmas tree.

Google won't search on E1.31 and sACN (E1.31) pulls up nothing.  DMX tester is a bust, christmas light test pulls up nothing related to test so don't know why google would ignore a keyword.

Could you check your google play for my apps and toss out the url that comes up for the maker?

Thanks
Alan
