I have looked around but did not find a topic on this subject.  Stupid question---for the 8 pin and 6 pin headers, do the "long" pins go "up" on the board with the "short" pins soldered to the bottom?  I think the answer is yes but wanted to check before I soldered!!!  Thanks very very much in advance.

Edit--I figured it out.  "Long" pins have to go up to provide enough pin length for the jumpers to be installed.  Doh.

Yes.  The tall sides stick up in the air away from the front side of the board for installing jumpers and attaching a programmer.

Finished the first one.  I have only built a few boards, so I am slooooow.   But I am getting better...   Little by little.  It is kinda fun learning how to solder.  Woulda never figured I would be a solder-dude!!

Second one next weekend.  Woohoo!!!

By the way, thx Cap.
