Transition to white
« on: February 24, 2014, »
I did not see an answer to this, and as I experiment more and more with my Aether IIs I had a question about White....

Since it is it's own channel, and I think I read somewhere that the firmware turns off the other colors if white is on how are people blending from a color to white? Just the standard RGB all on and not use the WHITE Channel?

If i blend with my Aether II and transition to white i just adjust my RGB to make white.  The only time I use the white LED is when I need it only, You can play with the blends, but in theory Full on for RGB is white or close to white.  Adjust the colors and play a little.  I am sure others try different ways.

Thanks....That's what I do with my other RGB devices since they don't have a single channel for white.....Have to look through my sequences to see how often I just do white by itself.
