Aether Lighting Curves??
« on: February 25, 2014, »
Can any one tell me what the difference is between the
Aether 1, Aether 2, Aether 3, Aether 4, and Aether 42 light curves?
What would determine which one to use?

Thanks

PP

Ok, I'll bite.  Where are you seeing these lighting curves?

The light curves that are in the Lynx Express programming utility.  They come from the pull down menu. There are many options for many different manufactures of light strings.

don't use them. they were for my testing. the Firmware already has the proper curves. Just flash the pic and you should be good to go.

Those strings are for the Express, not the Aether.  The Aether II has its own LED or LED's with the Aether 1 and the proper curve has already been set.   As RJ stated above, they were for his own testing to make the Aether operate as he expected.  The Express uses them because different light strings have different dimming characteristics and the idea is to make different strings in the display all look the same or as close as possible at the different dimming levels.
