I'm building some RGB Dumb strings using dmx control three channel boards which I got from DIY LED Express. All boards will all be housed in one enclosure. I have a spare Lynx ER/RX receiver I wanted to use to receive DMX. I can get 3.3 or 5v DC from the ATX PSU which could power the receiver and I assume the other header outputs DMX on the EX/RX receiver. Will this work?

Have you looked at the documentation on how to use an EXRX with an SSR4.  That might give you the answer you seek.  I have 4 SSR4s using this method and they work great.

On the SSR4 you remove the 485 chip for power, these boards don't have a 485 chip so I wasn't sure exactly what voltage they need?
