Xlights crashes on conversion

I've tried version 3.6.5 and 3.6.9 and they both do this.  When I try and create a .seq file for the conductor using a profile, I get an xlights has stopped working error message and it crashes.  If I flatten my sequence first, it works OK, but I was wanting to try having xlights use the profile to try something out.  Anyone else have this issue?

Should have mentioned that I am trying to convert a Vixen 2.1 .vix sequence.

Is the profile file in the xlights setup directory?
How big is your files and how much ram does that computer have?

Profile is in the directory...it does stop and tell if it is not (no crash).  Sequence is about 29MB.  PC has 4GB of RAM...although running Win7 32bit so only about 3.1GB is available for use, but nothing else is running (clean install)...not even a virus scanner.

How much disk space do you have available?
