Basement test setup
« on: November 18, 2014, »
First year trying RGB nodes.  Have all my eves covered and a 9' 8string mega tree.  Was able to test and store in basement.  Used j Channel on eves.  Easy to install and keeps most rain/snow off nodes.  Drilled many holes with this jig.  Thought I would share to give ideas to others.
164 Channels
2 Ren64, 1 Ren16, 1 Ren24
1- 24 Channel Mega Tree
1- 12 Channel Spiral Tree
Plan to start RGB next year.

I like how you used the stud to mark your spacing. I marked a 2x4 and used it as a guide to mark all of my pipe(1600 node pixel tree, 3 nights of drilling holes) your method would have made things a lot faster. I will have to keep that in mind for my matrix.

This is jig I used for my tree.  1/2" pvc.  Routered a groove so pipe would stay centered.
