Data Link light

Hey all....  setting everything up and i plug in my LE #3 and the data link light is constant on... even with no dongle plugged in...   is this an issue?  going to keep setting up and getting ready, just thought i would give a quick question about it.

This has happened to me before too.  It was not a problem for me.  Once the data cable was hooked up everything ran fine.  I remember this has been talked about before.  In past threads it has been mentioned that this is an issue with some of the rs485 chips.  Just ignore the light everything should run fine.

Mine shows on all the time also ... I can't remember prior years but this year they all show his when the dmx signal is connected, regardless of whether I'm sending any data or not.
