rgb arches
« on: December 07, 2014, »
what would be the best way to set up 32 arches in nutcracker? I am guessing that if I want to change things up between them and make them do different things, I would have to make 32 models. but if I want to group them, I make up one model with 32 arches?

32 arches lining my sidewalk
25 nodes each
8 ssc's
100 nodes/4arches per ssc

thanks

I've tried multiple single arches and a one arches model.  Not worth the effort to define and try to code multiple arches, esp if you have lots of arches.  Just make one arches model and apply things like spirals, bars or single strand to it.  just my .02

I now model my 5 arches as one model in xlights/nutcracker. They are run off of 2 SSC. 28 nodes each. I just chose individual start channel.

One model with 32 strings...  if the strings are not contiguous, you can choose to provide a starting channel for each of the strings -- still within the single model.
