Problems with DMX and Chauvet Geyser Fogger

A heads-up for others...

I am adding a fogger to my new year's eve show, but I had problems with the preliminary testing.


I found:
  • DMX-generated by Pixelnet EtD and an Active Smart Hub did NOT work
  • DMX produced by the DLA USB DMX dongle DID work
  • DMX passed through the DLA Wireless DMX TX/RS did NOT work

I used other DMX devices, including a Ray Wu DMX decoder to verify that DMX was working and it was only a compatibility problem with the Chauvet fogger.

Steve, just curious Did you test your Panther?
