1804 nodes and 2811 nodes

I am wondering if I can mix 1804 nodes with 2811 nodes. Attached is the mini trees i started before christmas  but did not have time to finnish. So i started playing with them again for this year and the stars i am going to use have 2811 nodes and the trees have 1804 nodes.still learning rgb Before I attempt to hook the 2 up togeather and possibly damage something I thought I would ask. Both are 12v

yes.  you can splice them together.  the color order will be different between the pixels however.
if you use your controller to change the color order, you will only fix one pixel type.


you'll need to readjust the color order in soft instead.

Thankyou steve for the reply. I just wanted to do some testing on the amount of strings, star fitting and sizing ect. Just didnt want to destroy plastic star or ssc4 . Will change star pixels if it looks good .
