I seem to recall that there was a problem getting the transmitter/receiver chip.  I remember that because I also have a couple of extra PCBs and thought they would now be worthless - not that I have a lot of money in them.

There is a the TX/RX module that is no longer available in the designed form.
I was not able to locate a suitable replacement for COOP

RJ would have to redesign this part

So I too have a PCB that someone gave me to build as an extra incase my current one ever went dead. I was about to pull the trigger on a mouser order but may have to hold off now.

I was going to use this part: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login as a replacement for the TX/RX module.

It was referenced in this post as a possible replacement. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login But then there was never any follow ups that i saw that said if it really worked.

So I guess the real question is has anyone tried this newer TX/RX module?

Thanks,
Richard

Wondering the same thing. This thread is almost 3 years old and no replies. The other referenced thread is also 3 years old.

A few of the BOM's that I look at on Mouser for the express, dongle and Lynx Wireless all have outdated items that are obselete and have been replaced with newer SMD components or worse, nothing. Is RJ still dedicated to keeping these up to date?

I have four that I could sell as I have no LEs left and I have one that is fully built but does not work and several PCBs but no parts.
