I have the Pickit 2 and I am trying to program my dongle chip, but I cant figure out where it goes on the board... It doesnt fit anywhere. The socket only has room for a 20 prong chip and the dongle pic is 28 prongs. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Brad

Programmed the pic for the dongle, now I am trying to program the pic for the express and I keep getting a "vpp voltage error, check target and retry operation". I still have all of the L's on my board covered with a connector. Any ideas, I have tried the chip both ways and get the same error.

Plug your pickit2 programmer right on top of the LE

See the Manual in the wiki near the bottom for this info

Thanks and my apologies. I stopped reading the manual when it got to the normalization part. I am going to read all the manuals from start to finish so I dont ask stupid questions like this one.

No Problem Brad,

I like answering the easier problems. I try to leave the difficult ones to RJ

Cheers
