OK, I have searched and can't find the answer I need in a form I can understand. In the wiki under the zeus, it says:
"NOTE: Do not use this version of the SSU with the Smart String Controllers (SSC) until their firmware has been updated. It will lock up the SSC and make them appear to be dead, due to the new color patterns"
If I mod my V1 & V2 SSC to V3 and update to V3 firmware, can I use the same utility to program the SSC and the Zeus and if so, which one/version would I use? The link on the Zeus goes to a SSC utility V2. The one on the SSC v3, is SSC utility setup 7-10-2011. Unless the files are the same and just labeled different (I haven't downloaded them yet), it appears it takes 2 different utilities to program the V3 SSC and the Zeus.
Can someone clarify if it takes one or 2 programs to program these 2 components at the versions I have mentioned?
