House Color
« on: September 04, 2016, »
Okay, this seems going a little Clark Griswold way, but we are getting our house re-sided, and my wife doesn't *seem* to care about color too much, and I really don't care.  Yet I am wondering abut the best color for projected light shows.  I'm guessing white is the best so if that's the case, I am thinking a light pastel would still work fairly well (at least compared to all the dark earth tones in my neighborhood).  Thoughts?
Cheers,
Fred

Lighter colors are better than dark but any color besides white or a shade of grey will alter the colors on your projection.  I would be far more concerned with how the house looks as a part of the neighborhood over concern of projection for one or two holidays in the year.  You could pick a few colors and then coat a large piece of cardboard with those colors and see how the projection looks on that before picking the final color.
