what do you mean by leaking data?

Well it is data that turns the nodes on. I get a rain bow only on two of the sscs when I power up my hub. All the rest stay unlit until I send a signal through xlights. Just two though. Not sure why they send a rainbow affect on start up

A rainbow in many cases is indicating a lack of data and noise.  What do you mean that the rest stay lit?

Ok Tbone I get it now. Yes there is noise so could it be that I have a bad solder joint or cable attachment. I meant to say all the rest are completely off. Now this only occurs when the hub is first turned on. Does not happen after I turn on xlights and say out put to light they go off and never happens again until initial power up of hub
