Mickey mouse lamp post

I'm building a mickey mouse lamp post that I am planning on putting in rgb bullet nodes.  There  are only going to be 6 total nodes in the lamp head, and i was wondering what would be the most efficient way to control this. Generally i would probably just leave it one color, but wanted to be able to shift colors of i wanted to, and possibly tie it into my display during Christmas. Any suggestions for the cheapest and/or easiest?
