Oh shoot RJ. I wanted one and figure that I'm going to regret not getting 2 more. Could I increase my request from 1 to 3. That will be enough to take care of my megatree.  I totally positive the LE will work with LOR so 2 more boards will be fine. In the future the Raleigh area people will do a group buy to save on shipping.

Thanks,
Al

Based upon the post office's performance on the DMX coop should we insure the shipments?  I believe USPS charges for insurance $1.75 for under $50 value. $2.25 for $100 and $2.75 for $200. It seems a small price to at least get our money back if the PO mangled these kits like the DMX kits.

If you want to do it I am not sure the cost but I would do it for you. I have never had an issue shipping these things and I have shipped a lot of them. The boxes are a lot heavier cardboard and they ship packed with paper.

Even with the wirless coop only 3 people out of like 100 people that got them lost anything. It isn't that I am talking you out of it but since not everyone would do it then it becomes a new challenge to track who does and what amount each package needs on it.

Maybe I need to think about make everyone pay insurance? I don't know?

RJ,
I would defer to your decision.   Given that the wireless PCB shipment issue was a fluke, and that you have shipped lots of the LE kits over the last year or so, it's probably OK to do it the same way you've been doing it in the past.

I'm looking forward to getting my kits, and start building.  I've also got the wireless DMX stuff coming once Bill starts shipping next week, and I'll have lots to do.

Add to that the issue of converting my sequences to LSP, and I'll be a busy beaver till the Christmas display goes up in November!

We may add it to the coops in the future where the fee is in the coop and everyone gets insure so it does not add to the coop managers workload but everyone will have the assurance of never losing out. It's just a though Bill and I were bouncing around since seeing the insurance for lower amounts up to $200 is not much.

If you dont have someone pay, I could use 6 more of these and can make a payment immediately for them.
