Presentation Assistance
« on: July 22, 2009, »
OK,

I have a request for some assistance with a presentation I need to do at the Lone Star Holidays workshop coming up in September.  I am going to be presenting the Working with DIY class on day 2 of this event.  I went last year and I believe there were around 250 people in attendance.  I was one of the only people there last year that was looking at the DIY side of lighting so it might be interesting this year to see what people can learn.

What I'm looking for is ideas on what should be in the presentation.  I've got Kyle's excellent presentation downloaded already and plan on plagiarizing quite a bit of it.  Actually Kyle I will give you plenty of credit.  Are there any other presentations floating around that people can share?  Bill, yours looked very good from what I saw of the video.  RJ, do you have one you can share?

I'm planning on bringing several of my Lynx pieces of equipment so they will be seeing the LE, MR16, SSR4, Dongle, Wireless and Freestlye.

Any thoughts on what else should be covered?

Thanks for the assistance.

I meant to post a link to the event in case anyone was interested in attending.  I got a lot of good information last year about electricity and setting up for that, did some hands on welding, got some cool information about animating props with motors and some generally cool ideas for building different lighting objects.
