SSR4 non DMX assemby????
« on: September 28, 2009, »
im getting ready to start assembly of my SSR4s withOUT DMX.

My question is do i need to cut any traces or do anything special to assemble them? (I seem to remember the first PCB needed to have a trace cut  or not cut for DMX ) the PCB i have now were bought in a coop about 2-3 months ago

I looked in the wiki manual and did not see anything about this.

thanks for the help

Hi Scott

You just need to solder the parts on.

Only the very first ssr4 boards needed to have the a few traces cut for dmx use.

If your PCB says Ver 2.0 on it then you do not need to change anything. This was only needed on early boards and only if you were using DMX built in not for SSR only use.
