LE channels
« on: October 02, 2009, »
Does the LE look for the next channel in line or could i go from 1-16 to 97-112?  i am trying  to get  my mr 16's to work and they are 97- 112  for christmas but i want to use them for holloween also. the lynx works great on any channel. i just cant get the MR 16 to work. i checked for terminate on the LE and it is not and i have also tried both dmx out on 2 diff cat 5 cables? any suggestions? could this be a LSP issue?

thanks

joshua

The LE will start responding to the channel that you set it's first channel to, and go for 16 channels from there.

It doesn't care if you start at 1 for the first controller, and start at 200 or even 4 for the second.  Some folks "overlap" their controllers' channels on purpose to do a special effect, or control more lights than one channel can handle.

So you can have the first LE @ 1-16, and have the second at 201-216 if you want.
