It feels great.  This was my first attempt at soldering anything and I'm downright shocked that both my dongle and LE worked right off the bat.  If I can solder, anyone can.  It's pretty darn dummy-proof stuff.

This is actually year 2 for me.  I bought a LOR controller last year.  My wife has been very supportive of all of this.  I am at 32 channels, which is fine for the amount of lights I have. 

But it is enjoyable to see the kids watch and enjoy it.  I had a 12 or 13 year old girl walk by in the spring when I was bringing down the lights (last winter was just too darn cold to be outside) and she said that she really enjoyed the display.

That's what it's all about.

I'm still building my first LE, but I did experience the kids marveling at the blinky from Mr. Christmas last year.  This is a big step, but so worth it.

I am still waiting for the first Coop I joined recently, and all I have been doing is reading, CAN"T WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON ONE or TWO or THREE EVEN !!, I need my fix !...
