sign choice
« on: October 22, 2009, »
I'm stuck on my choice for the yard sign.  I was hoping for all your input.  Please let me know either blue or red.
P.S.  The blue sign was from another member, I just tweeked it a little ;)

The red looks nicer, but the blue would be easier to read from a distance.

IMHO

If you could get that star background on the blue sign then it would be awesome but otherwise, I also vote for the red one.

I think the blue will be easier to read at night.  For my sign I have text only in LARGE black letters on a white background and it is very easy to read.  The main purpose of the sign is to inform and IMHO not not be an artistic display element.  That does not mean I am against colors or graphics, but remember what the sign is out there for.

While I fully agree with what you are saying, you really don't want the sign to take away from the display either.  A good looking readable sign adds to the display or at least blends in with it.

now I'm confused. Lost count. I'm leaning towards the red one.
