LED replacement
« on: November 16, 2009, »
Stupid question because I should know this... but I don't so I gotta ask.

I mangled one of my LEDs when desoldering due to putting it in backwards.  The shack had the following:

2.6V 25mA 10mcd

the specs on the LE LED is

2.5V 10 mA 20 mcd

Any issues with using the one from the shack?  This is on the 5 v indicator light.  I know it won't be as bright as the original.

Might be OK.
