Nic,

A Lynx Express Co-Op will start the 1st of January 2010.  You can get a Lynx Dongle PCB from RJ by sending him a PM.
A Mouser parts list for the dongle can be found in the wiki.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Limits are set by the member running the Co-Op.  I have seen Co-Op's with and without limits.
The Co-Op kits are usually the PCB, Parts, and HeatSink.  You will need to buy a case and power cords separately.

The Co-Op should be a version 5 board, but that will be announced by the Co-Op manager at the start of the Co-Op.

The only guidance at this time is the information from previous completed coops.    The last one had an estimated  $67 per kit (based on 50 kits).  The actual final cost was a little better than this.  This price did not include case or wires.  There are several variables that will drive the actual cost per kit in the next coop ...   the number being bought and design and part changes.  More kits being bought usually results in a lower per kit cost because of reduction in part costs due to higher quantity.   The design changes are adding some components which will add a little.  On top of the kit cost is the shipping, paypal fee and a small manager fee.   The manager fee almost covers the cost of the miscellaneous costs associated with packing and shipping the boxes out.

Last comment:  There sometimes is a limit on the number of kits in any one coop because the labor to do the buying, sorting, packing, shipping all falls on the coop managers shoulders... and this can be a real PIA if the coop gets too big.

Hope this helps...    You will see the real information posted in the Coop section of the forum when the coop manager is ready to start.

IIRC, there is a limit on the toal cost of the coop and it is rapidly reaching those limits.

Co-Op limits can be exempted by the Form Admin if needed.
