Thanks Rick!

I'll program a pic and drop it in...

That was it. I now have Blinky Flashy.

Thanks Rick and thank you all for your assistance!

One final comment.
I guess programming the starting address was harder than I thought but once I had the HEX file that started at channel one that was it. Now I have successfully programmed a board to another channel and it works great.

On another note. I did manage to hook up the board bassawards which blew the voltage regulator. I even used red and black wires but I used red spade connectors. Now I have a red spade connector colored black with a sharpie so I will make it harder to screw up next time.

Thanks to all for comments and to RJ for the suggestion and to Rick for posting the HEX!!!

Hi Kevin,

Glad it worked for you.

Wondering if a diode on the power in spades would help protect the regulator?

Cheers

You could make it idiot proof but us idiots are so ingenious  ;D
I think I'm so spoiled by the Lynx Express that all my boards need status leds and such...

Glad you got it working. Somewhere along the way when updating the firmware forgot to assign a channel before posting it. This will help later builders also.

If I end up doing additional pcbs for it later I will add it along with a few other items.
