RJ, really pretty sweet bright and cool-ly hot!

Just how does this focus thingy work?

Looks like I'm going to have to price the enclosures here now... won't be any five bucks on sale though that's for sure.

Yes look at the coop when it is available and select the add-on kit.

Add-on Kit #1
1 Bag of M&M's

Add-on Kit #2
1 Bag of M&M minis

Add-on Kit#3
Single Individual M&M

Please note we must reach at least 5,000,000 units  <yk.. in the Aether Add-On M&M coop to make shipping costs reasonable. IF we reach $5,000 in Add-on kits the Coop will close and we will PM everyone that they should have bought stock in Hersey's ;)

Great, I just converted all of my light strings to LEDs and now I have to replace those with M&Ms.

Greetings,,,

You just use white leds, and then use the M&M shells as color filters....

The candy that melts in your mouth, not on the Aether...

Now back to the regularly scheduled program! you bunch of comedians  <md..

Ran the Aether for 4 hours tonight at max output with a themocouple on the led slug. Got a long ways to go before anything melts. So we are looking good. I had the temp sensor safety killed off so I could see the limit of what it would do with all she has. It would not be needed and would have never been active.  I will leave it in for the $.26 the sensor cost and a few lines of code in the pic. That way if someone does something crazy like paint one black and turn it on outside in south fla in august at noon wide open for 6 hours I know it will keep on getting it with no damage possible do to the safety system. Just a little reduction in output as the worst case and as soon as the temp came down it would power up to full again.

Working on the firmware to add the bells while I wait for the through hole version (final version I hope) of the pcbs to come. If I get the firmware to a point of being able to show off the fourth channel (White) I will get a video of it in full operation this weekend.

Showed it off to the Sheriff today, she asked if I would build some of them for her!  <yk..   <res.

Told her we will see and Smiled.   Then when she said what she was going to do with them it hit me. I am going to make a special firmware that lets you cable any number of them together and the first one is the master. No computer involved they just do color fade patterns all in sync stand alone. Then I am going to use them on my house for landscrape lighting like this. Just plug the power in and away they go.
