Dongle Firmware - Wiki Mistake?
« on: February 04, 2010, »
I don't mean to be a  >:D

Umm I think there is an incorrect checksum currently on the Wiki left over from dongle v1 firmware. Reason I am guessing is the .hex file says dongle2 the checksum on the Wiki still seems like Dongle 1 firmware and the new checksum I believe I maybe wrong is 02CC.....  ;) I only bring this up as I was programming them today since all my parts finally arrived.

Nope,

there was an updated for version 1 pcb firmware called dongle2. As far as I know ver 2 pcb firmware has not been released yet.

The checksum should be correct.

Don't confuse software versions with pcb versions

Found the error and it was my mistake... I was off by one when I selected the chip from the drop down... guess I'm going to have to make the mouse a little less sensative ;)
