Heres a little utility I have been talking about a while. This helps you program the start channel on things like the SSR4's, Freestyles, Mr16 controller, ect. You do not need to use your seqencing program this will do it easy for you.

It is windows only (Sorry!) and uses net.

It is beta so you can test it and let me know how it works.

In the setting menu you will have to choose the com port your dongle is on and then drop down the list to the start channel you want and hit the button.

I will see if Rick can move it to the wiki for us where it needs to be under software.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not offering my maro to anyone!  Slap you with a big wet Noodle for that one!   Shocked

And I would not paint it green for a $100,000, Wait sure I would then I could buy another Rally Yellow one!  Grin

Back to the the regularly schedule program :

The utility, someone test it and see if it works. I did not have a good way to test but it does appear to put the correct info out.

Qucik question on this tool...

I have been using it to address my my SSR4 from the last COOP.  When I connect up the dongle, set the COM port in the utility and set the address...I than click the program button.  I get the "Address Being Transmitted" flashing and it just keeps flashing.  Should that go away or does it keep flashing until I tell it to stop?

It keeps flashing until you stop it.

The idea is someone might be setting or resetting the boards out in the yard and there is no way for the program to know when to stop.

Hope that helps
