I am having problems with vixen when using preview, a popup says that vixen has encountered an error and will not run the preview. Any solutions?

Start a new seq with just a few channels maybe 16

no profile is needed

save a new seq

click on attach plugins and only select adjustable preview use button

click plugin setup

in the preview window just draw some straight lines for each channel (ie: the second row of toolbars is a blank box with a drop down - select channel one)
you can select color for each but not needed at this stage.

click ok and then click done

back to the seq screen just add some random on/off ramps  and then hit the f5 key

you should see some "lights" turn on or off or some level of dimming

click f8 to stop

Hope that helps
