LSP vs Vixen
« on: March 02, 2010, »
Hi, i will apreciate a real feedback about comparaison with these 2 Software

I spend 1h00 to have a full sequence on Vixen working but some bugs, arghhh...
I spend also 1h00 with LSP (demo version + training lessongs downloads) to make something relevant, but not enough positive too...

So at this stage, it's difficult to choice ... Please don't tell me about one is free and the other not...

I think this is necessary and relevant to have such topic to be present in our community...

Admin, if you read me, you can open a topic, in same  section???

It will be very interesting to have feedback from users...

Sorry to post this message twice in each section, but it make sense to advance on positive way...

Cheers, Henri

if you plan to use dmx color mixing I have found LSP to be far superior. Even when i use LSP i sequence allot in viven and import to LSP as I am much more familiar with vixen and have many more hours using it. The true color mixing blending and preview page are both very nice and much easier then vixen.  I would like to see the two of them combined but they arent. If I were just using Christmas lights I would use or recommend Vixen but if using  wii guitar, moving head fixtures or r/g/b wall washers, they  are all much easier using LSP.
