dongle problem/ not working HELP

I just finished programing my pic for my dongle and I am trying to control my le and I am not getting any data to the le, possible dongle problems I am not really sure

Are you getting any response from the computer when you plug in the dongle?  You've installed the drivers?

yes the comp. says it found usb245m and that it is ready to use then it says it found usb controller. yes I did install the drivers and I am not getting a signal to my le, the data light does not come on and when I try to run the lynx address utility it also locks up

Ok my check list to ask :

You did not subsitute any parts ?

You are sure you used the current firmware for the dongle out of the wiki?

hit each solder joint with your iron again but turn the heat up a little. Try it then.

Open up the control panel / devices in windows with the donlge unplugged. PLug it in and what the ports, what com port was added.

What software are you using to do this?  Make sure it is set to this com port.

Can you post some clear close up pictures of both sides of the board from a few angles so we can look it over?

All of this info will help us help you get it working.

Does not sound like the pic is running so you are over filling the usb buffer. The .1 uf cap on the back end of the pic. Put your meter across it and tell me what voltage you have with it plugged in.

problem solved somehow I loaded a bad hex file to the pic
