I finally caught up on customer orders so I gave a go to engraving my dongle boxes and I think it turned out fairly nice.  Note - this is not my Lynx logo...

More than I suspect any sane person would pay.  I just had some free time and decided to see what it would look like.  I think I might also engrave all my cases before I install the boards.

Here are my Lynx Express and SSR4+DMX vinyl box lables.  10yr vinyl should hold up well.

Dont mean to be the rainy day, but the OP did mention it was not his logo.  Dont think transfering another persons logo for use would be all that wise.  It is a cool logo but it is in use with a company and they might take offense to that.  But you can always ask them to use it.

Normally I would not have a problem giving them away if they were mine to give away.  I used the logo I found on the internet for personal use but me distributing it might not be a good idea.  That said, I can't imagine it would take any person with moderate skills to copy what I've done.  Sorry....

The reason that I went with a different logo was that I needed a vector logo instead of a bitmap - which is required with vinyl and CNC work.

Hmm.. that's not even the one I used but it's a complete replica I used.  The one I used was on a realtor website.  Now that I look I find it used on lots of other sites also:

For that matter, the "DLA" Lynx logo is also used elsewhere:

Is the current Lynx logo an "orginal" work of art?

DM, LOL trademark it and use it  Grin.  Some of those linked above have a slight variation, which makes it a new logo in essence.  But your right a lot of them are using the same style.  Wonder if they bought it from Logo's R Us.

On a side note, with the vinyl (as I know the case engraving would probably be to expensive) are you able to do something with that and offer it to the community?  I wouldnt mind getting a vinyl sticker for the DMX box, Express, TX, and such.
