Lynx Express V5 Completed by a noob
« on: March 09, 2010, »
Well I have done it....I put together my very first controller. The great thing about it is no problems detected. It booted up and passed the testing on the very first try. WOOOHOOOO I'm soooooo excited. Thanks RJ for the tutorial. Though I will say that the one I watched was for version 4 and I almost forgot to put the 47k  resistors in. Luckily I took your advice in the begining and seperated and counted all parts before I began.

As a side note to anyone who is putting together one for the first time I HIGHLY reccomend going out anf buying a OHM meter I got a digital one for about 30 bucks. This was extremly helpful!

A BIG thanks to everyone here on the forums who posted HOW TO's and TIPS!  ;D
Even as an adult I find it difficult to sleep on Christmas Eve.  Yuletide excitement is a potent caffeine, no matter your age.
