V2 Dongle - Which Firmware?

Hi,

I'm a bit confused.  From what I read in another post, it appears that the firmware for the V2 Dongle has not yet been released.  However, other posts seem to indicate that people are programming the PICs in their new dongles.

Does the current V1 Dongle firmware (DONGLE2.HEX) work in the V2 Dongle?

The V2 firmware has code to enable the new test feature that the V2 dongle offers.  You can use the V1 firmware with the V2 dongle for now but the test feature jumper will not do anything.
