I just tried to order the resistor packs from Halted.com, after ordering I received an email saying they were out of stock with no idea when they would get them back in.

Mouser.....:(  Out for now
Halted.....:(  Out for now.

Btw, there is also a lead time on the PIC's for the SSR4's.  Must be all the coops we have been running:)

Get 4 pieces of 71-CCF50-681 from Mouser (watch the price break at 50; depending on how many you get, it may be cheaper to get 50...).  Fold the lead over so they stand vertically, and use them in place of the network.  Place the first one with the longer lead in pin 1 and the shorter in pin 2.  Then load the other three in the same fashion next to the first one.

I ordered a substitute and was tired of waiting, so I used 1/4w resistors 681 ohm that I had on hand.
Long story short. It works the same.

thanks for the feedback!

I ended up finding some SIP packages at newark and they are on their way!!!  Yipeee!!!  Mouser also released the rest of my order to shipping today!!!  Hooray!

The only issue I had with mouser was finding the right resistor.  Guess I should have looked a little harder, but I am new to this substitution stuff, but I will get better at this with practice!!!

one thing to watch with getting sub parts...  sometimes getting a part from a diff manufacturer might have a spec off, or it might just be made "cheap"

back in the 80's, i bought a GPX walk-man, and a Sony,   guess which one still works today...

some companies just build better components.
To rule the entire tri-state area!  What's that? Perry the Platypus!!!
