For multiple universes, do I need multiple Dongles?

Yes, to achieve multiple universes one needs multiple dongles.

Thanks guys...

It was late when I posted and I just couldn't wrap my head around it!

So in Vixen,  for example, a profile for a multi-universe sequence would have multiple Entex DMX Pro plugins selected... and then what?  Oh... I get it... you would configure each plugin for the appropriate channel range.  (Thinking out loud... er, ah, as I type.)

Yes -- each plugin would be pointed at a different COM port, which in turn would be connected to a different dongle. And then each plugin gets a different set of 512 channels.
