On the correct path
« on: June 15, 2010, »
???  Okay on my home from work tonight I got to thinking (since texting is against the law now),  So I place the wireless tx on my dongle located in my house.  Then a RX on a LE, then I can daisy chain cat5 from that LE to others and the last LE I make sure it has the "terminate" jumper in.   Also I place a RX on an SS4DMX and on the output daisy chain with CAT5 to an another SS4DMX then to another then to another and ensure terminate is at the last one....  Is that it????  I got to questioning myself and setup today and really got myself confused..

The first half of your statment regarding the LE is absolutly correct (for LE boards version 3 and up).

If you are planning to mount the LE-RX inside of the SSR4-DMX and plug it in place of the RS485 chip,   chaining to downstream SSR4-DMX will not work.    If you use an "external" receiver and have the output from that receiver go into a SSR4-DMX, then yes, you can chain to another SSR4-DMX.
