SSR4 PIC Programming
« on: June 28, 2010, »
Okay,  so I built a SSR4 w/ DMX.  Now I need to program the PIC since I did not get the kit from a COOP.  I have a new PICKIT 3 but have never used it.  Do I need to make a header/interface/etc board to place the PIC on to program it?  The PICKIT 3 came with an interface/demo board but there is no way this PIC18F 1220 is going to fit on that board anyplace.  Thanks

Of course, the connections will be different for the SSR4 pic.  Don't have them right on hand...

I used a breadboard with the connections shown in the attachment and it worked fine.
