Not sure but it looks like mouser doesn't have all the parts.

Is there going to be COOP for MR16 parts?

Someone would need to step up to the plate (don't look at me) ... I just ran it through M and at quantity 100 (not unreasonable since 190 PCBs are being ordered), the price drops from $42 to about $25 (not counting shipping, or various fees) ... probably get out the other side of a coop with about $30 per board (again, not counting shipping, this time the secondary shipping) ...

Not sure but it looks like mouser doesn't have all the parts.

The BOM lists a now-obsolete part (the 100uf capacitor ... the BOM owner should update) and the other out-of-stock piece is the oscillator which conveniently is scheduled to come in on Wednesday ...

Not to hijack the thread, but I've noted that Mouser charges we California residents our respective sales tax (9.25% here in San Mateo County) ... are there other places the company ships where it doesn't charge sales tax? Even if they do charge it across-the-board, those in lower sales-tax jurisdictions might be better coop manager candidates than those of us in higher-cost places ...

As of now, companies are only required to collect the States sales taxes in States that have them where they are located so if your state doesn't have a sales tax or Mouser doesn't have a branch office in your State then there will be no sales tax collected.

Yes, I knew that ... I guess what I was driving at was that it is difficult to tell from Mouser's contact page where they have offices and where they don't ... I guess I was looking for anecdotal evidence that in fact those customers outside of Texas and California don't get charged sales tax.

I don't recall paying any sales tax when I ordered from Mouser but it was a while ago.  When I get back to NC I can check but it may be a week or more before that happens.

Yes it would be nice to have a COOP ASAP.

Christmas is coming up. Being new and ignorant of this site and electronics.  I would be like a bull in a china closet trying to get some thing started. Everyone would get parts for a fire alarm.

Hope some will step up to the plate.

Thank you RJ for all the work you do with this site and the COOPS.
