No, actually, it was a replacement for the FQP27P06, which is also out of stock. It looked like Matt ordered 2 of them, with one showing as available, and one showing as backordered.

512-FQP11P06 is the RJ-blessed substitute for the 512-FQP27P06.

512-FQPF11P06 (in stock) and an 512-FQP11P06 (back ordered) are electrically identical. The only difference is the cases are slightly different. The FQP package is a traditional TO-220 with a metal tab. The FQPF package has a plastic tab. I received my 512-FQPF11P06 parts today and can confirm that the dongle operates fine with this part. I have attached a picture showing 2 pieces as received from Mouser and an additional one populated in a v2 dongle.

I looked up 512-FQP11P06 at Mouser. Mouser says it is on back order now. Well were do we go from here.

You are correct. However, you should check the 512-FQPF11P06. I just checked and Mouser has 32 in stock.
