at 3:55 you show the Aether at Wide Flood,
at 7:55 you show Flood Light
at 9:20 you show Tight Flood Light
at 11:10 you show Focused Spot

(Sorry if I got the descriptions above mixed up)

What Avago lenses are these? I thought it was you going from No Lens, 30 degrees, 15 degrees, and then 6 degrees... but when looking at still screen shots I put into a Word document to compare them side by side, it looks like the one at 7:55 has a tighter focus (and brighter hot spot) than the one at 11:10.

Also, how far is the Aether from the barn? It looks like about 10 feet.

I'm trying to figure out what lenses to buy...

No it was just a few feet no where near 10.

I could not watch it before leaving this morning so I will take you word on me getting them confused.

Maybe I should clarify... can you tell us which angle lens was used in at each time segment?

None
30 deg
15 deg
6 deg

There are only three choices but none is the forth and is the wide flood setting.

Each lens move down to a lower angle throw makes it much brighter but less coverage. The video can not really show you what it is doing.

RJ, I know you are leaving in a few weeks, but is a coop for the lenses looking like a possibility?  Mouser has lead times on two of the lenses, but Newark is offering promotional pricing on 2 of them and have all 3 in stock.

In case a COOP isnt an option here are the links for everyone:

Assuming everyone who bought an Aether bought a full set of lenses in a coop - that would amount to a 69 cent savings per aether.  I think you would spend more than that on paying the shipping fee from vendor to coop manager and then manager to you.  Probably cheaper to just buy them on your own and get them sooner.
