FINISHED Lynx Aeon clock coop, ends 9/12

Awesome........ That is great to hear.  Now the bad part is when it arrives I have to hand the box over to my wife.  She is going to stash it until Christmas.  It is a Christmas present from her to me.  Oh well I have plenty to do with the light show.

All Aeons are now on their way.  When you get them, please check to see that you have all of the kits you ordered.  I seem to have one more left over than I should have, and some extra PCBs (but I know RJ got some extras of them to hit the next price break).  Let me know if I missed anything, and I'll get it out to you.

Well mine had a couple missing parts. 

Missing 1 4.7K resistor and 1 .01uf cap.

Looked and it appears the BOM is wrong.  Says the Aeon only needs 3 4.7ks when it needs 4 and 8 .01uf caps when it needs 9.

The 4.7 I had some extra lying around and hoping Radio shack has the .01uf caps.

If you look at the assembly manual, the 100nF cap next to the 8-pin connector on top is not supposed to be loaded.  As for the 4k7. it looks like the posted BOM is in error.  There are 4 on the board (pullup on ~MCLR, pullups for the pushbuttons, and the pullup for the clk out on the RTC).  I guess we will have to wait for RJ on this.  If you don't have an extra 4k7 resistor lying around, you can likely use anything from around 2K to 10k for the button pullups (the two to the left of the PIC)
