On the MR16 how many DC string bulbs can you use. All I see is 20 bulb sTrings. Can you put two strings together?
The MR16 can use 2.5 amps or 30 watts per channel in the manual.

Greetings,,,

You need more info.  Are these leds?  Do they have current limiting resistors?  What voltage are you running?  etc.

Yes LED lights at 12v using the MR16. I'm also wondering what kit to buy on the newest coop MR16 coop.  I want to put at least 5 to 40 bulbs on each channel if possable.

If they are LEDs I think you'll be fine.

EDIT - As I recall now I remember RJ telling me that the MR16 would handle a ridiculous large amount of lights (MR16 that is) I think in your case the thing to remember since it's DC is that you need a power supply that can handle it and the wire size to match. The number you mentioned though seems to be low enough I think the MR16 controller will handle with no problem. (I guess the question still needs to be asked,... What kind of lights?)

Well I have two choices take AC LED lights and change them to DC 12 volt or buy boat 12volt lights and use them. Changing the AC light to DC will take alot of effort. Not sure how to do that.

Greetings,,,

Boat lights sound easier and possibly more rugged.  Check the current requirement.
