Installing Dongle driver on PC
« on: September 27, 2010, »
I am trying to install the drivers for my Dongle.  I have downloaded them onto my PC.  However when I plug the Dongle into the PC I am not getting the New Hardward Wizard box.  I tried searching for it manually but I don't know what the computer is calling the Dongle in the hardward list.  I am using XP.

Is it called a "USB Serial Converter" in the hardware list?

It should be something along those lines. I think mine is USB serial port, but I am running Win 7, so it might be a little different.

Like so many  other things I have gotten it done and actually sent DMX to my Lynx Express but if someone asked me how I did it I could not tell them...
