PIC CHIP for dongle

I thought I had a spare pic for the dongle but somehow I got a 18lf2450-I/sp instead of the 18f2450-I/sp. The only difference is the " L" I am wondering if this will work in the ver 2 dongle?

Maybe I can answer my own question . I bought a picket and programed this chip and ran 1 16 channel  sequence with it . I seems to work the same as the  18F2450-I/Sp
